Customer Support Technician

Location: Piscataway, NJ

We are looking for a candidate to handle Customer support in our Piscataway, NJ office. Must speak, read and write fluently in English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to our customers over phone and email. This includes help in modifying the configuration of readers, firmware upgrades, answer software related queries and questions from the customer.
  • Troubleshooting of the reader hardware and make a decision whether to issue an RMA to the customer or get the reader back for repair or send parts to customer to fix the reader.
  • Testing of customized firmware as per the project specifications and document all the bugs and give it to the development manager.

  • Implement and train customers for various utilities developed by the development team to change settings, upgrade firmware etc.
  • Document all the cases attended for the customers using our JIRA ticket system. This document should include opening of the case, reporting of the problem, resolution of the problem and closing the ticket. Also take customers approval for the resolution of the problem and add a comment in Netsuite.
  • Need to co-ordinate and learn repairs from the Hardware repair technician from China.
  • Work with the shipping manager for upgrading the firmware, changing the configuration/settings for any standard reader from the warehouse based on the orders received.
  • Work and coordinating all the receipts and returns of RMA readers.
  • Maintain the inventory of spare parts and keep a record and reconcile at the end of each month. 

Sales Manager - Access Control Division 

Location: Piscataway, NJ

The purpose of the position is head start and run the new Access control division/product line by identifying, appointing and developing new resellers. Resellers may be OEM's, Distributors, Retailers, Systems Integrators or Resellers that serve the end user market.

The position is responsible for promoting sales of Access control Panels, Biometric and RFID Access control readers by identifying, recruiting and developing new Resellers. The sales manager will work directly with CEO to create strategy and will have input into the creation of the strategy and has considerable scope in its implementation.  The Sales manager must propose ideas and offer consultancy to customers on how to grow their Access control business, help implement and support them to meet growth targets and to resolve complex commercial channel issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze the market and crease sales plan and targets by product family and Reseller channel.
  • Achieve sales targets for Access control division
  • Identify, recommend and facilitate the appointment of new channel partners.
  • Identify and recommend sales opportunities in new and existing markets and increase market share in established markets.
  • Provide support to assigned accounts and strategic alliances by providing sales training, pre sales support, and demonstration of equipment and participation in joint end user visits.
  • Provide support to assigned accounts and distributors by preparing, managing and executing VAR development plans using sufficient resource available at the time.
  • Develop joint marketing strategies with the resellers that enable them to meet their objectives.
  • Provide a focal point for the relationships with assigned strategic alliance partners to include the successful introduction of new products, including pricing programs and the coordination of key events hosted by business partners in which ZK’s Access control solutions will display, present or support the event.
  • Provide competitive pricing information, competitive situations and customer attitudes for current and future requirements
  • Review continually the sales results at all levels, put in place action programs to make good any shortfall against forecasts, for these accounts. 
  • Provide sales reports and statistics.
  • Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by CEO.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • College diploma or University degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Internet usage.
Required Knowledge / Experience
  • Proven sales experience in the Identity and Access Management industry
  • Must have prior experience in selling/managing Access control related products like panels, readers, software and accessories.
  • Experienced in managing a Channel
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in USA.

Independent Sales Representative (Mfg. Rep Agencies)

Location: Piscataway, NJ

ZK Access (Access control division of ZK Software) is currently looking for independent representative sales agencies located throughout the United States to introduce and Expand ZK’s sales for its intelligent access control solution including Panels, readers, peripheral and software through out each regional sales territory.

The ideal agency should have offices and personnel located throughout territory that they cover. The agency must have a proven record of sales to the security access control or door hardware industries. The agency personnel should have excellent sales and communication skills, technical knowledge and experience with electric door locking hardware, and security access control systems.

ZK will provide product training, literature and samples. The sales agency will report to the Vice President of Sales.
